Bruce Lemire is the immediate past President, Director and Editor for the Amoskeag Reserve Engine Company (AREC), the New Hampshire Chapter of SPAAMFAA. His life-long interest in the fire service was sparked while he grew up across the street from the station of the Newington Volunteer Fire Department Company No. 1 in Newington, Connecticut. Bruce is a veteran of the New Hampshire Army National Guard. He taught Technology Education and pre-vocational training to students in grades 5 through 12. Bruce also operated his own general contracting business and later settled into woodworking and cabinetry.
